Yoshi is an adventurous young male who came into care, at only 600gms, because of his mum having to be euthanised due to being totally blind. After only 2 weeks in care by himself, Yoshi was joined by little orphaned Sakura weighing only 550gms. She is a sweet little female who adores Yoshi. This pair have bonded extremely well together and each one relies on the other for reassurance and comfort. At this weight they would still be clinging to mum’s tummy or back, so to have each other to provide closeness has benefitted them both. As well as each other they also have their surrogate teddies to which they are almost always attached.
Yoshi and Sakura required milk feeds around the clock and will be gradually weaned as they increase their weight, and head toward release at about 4.5 kgs.
