Wendy

Chubby cheeked baby Wendy came into care in November at 2.26kg after her mother was rescued in Aldgate and sadly euthanised due to severe pneumonia. It was only on vet examination that a lactating teat was noticed and so we knew to go back to search for a joey. Wendy was found alone 2m up a small tree, very frightened and slightly dehydrated. Now at 3.70kg and 12 months old, she is still in care with regular formula feeds until old enough to be released back into the wild.
